For as long as we can remember, we have been incredibly closely connected. Yes, we are
cousins but as I say in the title track “who knows where it began, it’s not just the family tree,
the universe conspired again, it was always meant to be”.

For the last 50+ years, our times together, both mundane and downright dangerous have led us
to a shared perspective on the world, with music at the center. The community we’ve built,
both together and individually, is reflected in this album. Our influences, musical styles and
growth as people and musicians are reflected in this album. Our Midwestern roots are reflected
in this album and our deep and long friendship is reflected in this album.

We each brought 6 original songs to this project and the album was recorded remotely over
nearly 5 years. We were so lucky to have the incredibly talented Patrick Pearsall (bass) and
Eddie Davis (drums) as part of the core of this group. They are just badass musicians and two of
the nicest dudes you’d ever want to meet. What a gift to additionally showcase so many of our
other talented musician friends as well and thanks to all of them for their efforts and the magic
each of them brought to the party.

We had so much fun creating this album and are really proud of how it turned out. We hope
